MEET AMAPOLA
I’m a native Texan, but moved to Southern California a few years ago with my then-boyfriend (now husband to be). I had just gotten into a Masters of Landscape Architecture program with big plans to tame the worlds gardens, when I stumbled across a few insanely talented local floral designers on instagram. I fell. in. love… I dropped everything and reached out to them begging to learn. “I’ll clean buckets, pick up dead stems off the floor, WHATEVER! Just teach me your ways!” It’s weird that seeing something so inspiring on social media sort of solidly marked my future forever. After learning from designers here and there, and finally moving back to TEXAS, I felt like I had the foundational knowledge and experience that I needed in order to bind all my passions together. By starting Amapola I felt like I could fuse my love for design, entertaining, teaching and connection to the outdoors all in one place. The rest is history..
WHAT IS AMAPOLA? Amapola is a company that is designed to tap into your inner creative; whether through arranging your own flowers or hiring me to bring the beauties to you! What I offer My floral design services consist of centerpieces, bouquets, and arrangements for events. [Please see my Events & Corporate page for a more detailed list] I am also available to host private workshops, or arrangement classes. & Finally, I offer a Do-It-Yourself Flower Arrangement Box via the mail across the state of Texas.
